Time to Bargain at PPMC

PPMC caregivers and supporters deliver a request to management to respect our union and begin bargaining!

 

On April, 17, a crowd PPMC workers and community supporters filed into HR to deliver a strong request to Krista Farnham that Providence management meet us at the bargaining table now, and respect our right and the right of supply techs to form a union! We were joined by nurses, SEIU 49 members at Providence Milwaukie, and the Faith Labor Committee of Portland Jobs with Justice who strongly encouraged Providence to follow the social teachings that guide Catholic employersto respect workers when we organize.
