PDX Health Insurance Update

Since the fight to form your union, you and your coworkers at PDX have come together to demand affordable and comprehensive healthcare. You have made your voices heard through sit-ins, car caravans, petitions, and other actions that sent a strong message to the Port of Portland, the airlines, and your employers: You will stand up for the benefits you deserve!

We are so excited to announce that, because of this fight, SEIU members at PDX will have access to a new, affordable, and comprehensive healthcare plan effective April 1, 2025! Please ensure that you work with your direct boss to complete the necessary forms to either enroll or opt out of this new insurance benefit.

If you are on Washington Apple, you can also keep Washington Apple as your secondary insurance and get your premiums and copays reimbursed.  Learn more and apply here: Premium Payment Program | Washington State Health Care Authority.
